A week on the east coast of the island of Sicily – the basis for the trip plan I built for my husband and me, and it was very successful.

Day 1: Landing in Catania, a car was waiting for us at the airport. A 15-minute drive to the center of Catania to the most central hotel (in a centuries-old building), settling in and setting off on a walking tour of the city.

Day 2 Food tour in Catania, drive to Taormina. Overnight in Taormina.

Day 3 Taormina, short drive to Castellammare del Golfo, drive to Isola Bella beach. At night, cocktails on the roof of a ballroom.
